Romari comes from a footballing family – his father, Fabian Forde, played for Watford and represented Barbados at international level, while his brother, Shaqai Forde, spent last season on loan at Leyton Orient from Watford. Romari, a talented right winger who can also play centrally, saw his own progress hampered by injury last term, as it did the previous season. A huge Arsenal fan, Romari – who joined from Watford in 2020 – grew up watching Thierry Henry and names Santi Cazorla as another of his all-time favourite Gunners.
